A beautiful synth ballad from the album ‘The Pleasure Principle’. It kept up the sequence of consecutive top 10 singles for Numan although a lot of fans (myself included) believe that it was the wrong track to release as a single. If Numan had released ‘Metal’ from the album instead then surely it would have been his 3rd number 1 single in a row? I have taken this straight from video and overdubbed the soundtrack to make it higher quality. Hope you like it.

Unofficial video of Gary Numan’s ME Supposedly it’s about the last intelligent machine on earth, left alone, after every human has died. Nevertheless, alienation and isolation is universal theme. The song and subject are extremely futuristic and, despite singing atonally, he’s able to express a lot of emotion. Footage is of New York’s Flushing Meadows Park. Yet another Top 10 hit with this single from 1980. It was promoted big time in the USA on various formats and added to the US release of the album Telekon although it wasn’t originally added to the UK version. This is Numan looking his best in a video that is Uber Cool. I have taken this straight from video and overdubbed the soundtrack to make it higher quality. Hope you like it.
