Stéphane Ortelli looses control of his Courage-Oreca LMP1 at a speed of 315 km/h during the 1000 km of Monza race, 2nd round of the Le Mans Series. He escapes with only an injured ankle (small fractures). Initially it was reported that the cause of the crash was not brakes but a wing failure (but also was reported later that it was a suspension failure – can’t find a source).

Burgs. The recording process: I jacked the Stef-T7 straight into the computer via an M-Audio ProFire 610 and ran Amplitube 3 with a custom preset that I wrote for it. If you PM me I’ll email the preset to you, or alternatively you can download it from IK Multimedia’s Preset Xchange site (from here: www.ikmultimedia.com ). Why did I use Amplitube? Because it sounds great and I don’t have an amp that could possibly handle the bottom end that this thing is capable of delivering. I also used IK’s T-Racks 3 Deluxe to master the audio. Thank you Tiia and Fab! Other notes: This is a 27″ Baritone 7 string guitar tuned to B. The high string is a B and the low is an F#. I use 13-70 for it. Cheers and thanks for watching.
